Ingredients
6 cups cabbage, roughly 1/2 head
1 carrot cut into matchsticks
1 can Mandarin oranges, drained
4 cups romaine lettuce chopped
1 red bell pepper, sliced thin
1/4 cup almonds toasted
2 tablespoons sesame seeds toasted
Salad Dressing
1/2 cup rice vinegar (plain)
3 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons raw honey
1 teaspoon sea salt
1-2 teaspoons sriracha
In a bowl, add the chopped cabbage, carrots and mandarin oranges- set aside
In a small jar, or plastic container, add all the salad dressing ingredients and shake well until completely combine.
Pour 1/2-3/4 of of the dressing over the cabbage mixture and put into the refrigerator until ready to use. You can also serve it immediately
Keep the romaine and pepper in another container, until ready to use
Toast the almonds, and sesame seeds in a small frying pan over medium heat and stir frequently until they are lightly browned.
Mix the cabbage and romaine mixtures and pour over the dressings, and toss well, then add the toasted nuts and seeds.
